Permissions and notifications for the Komp app

It's important that you grant the necessary permissions for the Komp app to ensure optimal use. If you don't allow the app to use the microphone, for example, you won't have any sound when calling Komp.

To find the app permissions, follow these steps:

iOS:

1. Open your phone/device settings
2. Scroll down and find the Komp app
3. Make sure to grant these permissions:

• Contacts - to easily get access to your contacts when inviting new users
• Photos - so that you can open your photo gallery and send an existing photo to Komp
• Bluetooth - to create a bluetooth connection between Komp and your device for WiFi setup
• Microphone - makes it possible for you and the Komp user to hear each other
• Camera - makes it possible for you and the Komp user to see each other

Android:

1. Open your phone/device settings
2. Go to Apps and find the Komp app
3. Click Permissions
4. Make sure to grant these permissions:

• Files and media - so that you can open your photo gallery and send an existing photo to Komp
• Nearby devices - to create a bluetooth connection between Komp and your device for WiFi setup
• Location - some devices makes it necessary to enable this for bluetooth to work
• Microphone - makes it possible for you and the Komp user to hear each other
• Camera - makes it possible for you and the Komp user to see each other

To enable notifications for the Komp app, follow these steps:

iOS:

1. Open your phone/device settings
2. Tap Notifications
3. Scroll and tap on the Komp app 
4. Turn the toggle ON to allow notifications

Android:

1. Open your phone/device settings
2. Go to Apps and find the Komp app
3. Click Notifications
4. Turn the toggle ON to show notifications
